Lunch & Learn - STEM-MoBILE & Biofabrication
Jul 09
Southern New Hampshire, otherwise known as ReGen Valley, has become a hub for the rapidly growing field of biofabrication, the production of human tissues from organic and synthetic sources. Expanding this life-changing industry requires a diverse workforce in advanced manufacturing, biology, biotechnology, computer science, data analytics, engineering, manufacturing, automation, information technology and more. Through hands-on learning, the STEM-MoBILE seeks to educate people of all ages about the world-changing field of biofabrication.
Join us as Sydney Rollins, University of New Hampshire at Manchester's STEM-MoBILE Project Manager and Adjunct Faculty Lab Instructor, shares how this initiative came to be and why. Sydney and her graduate students will lead you through various hands-on science experiments as part of this free lunch and learn, and you will tour the STEM-MoBILE!
Lunch is at 11:30 and our program will begin at 12 noon. We'll provide beverages and desserts; you simply bring your lunch and inquisitive nature! There is no cost to attend.
