Foundations of Supervision

This workshop is designed to improve the skills of individuals currently in, or moving into, supervisory and managerial positions. Through exercises, discussion, and self-assessment tools, you will develop an understanding of the fundamental concepts of effective supervision.

You will learn:

  • The role of the supervisor/manager
  • Management styles
  • How to promote good performance and job satisfaction
  • Effective communication skills

Each student will receive a copy of David Lee's book Dealing with a Difficult Co-Worker. Vol. 1 of the Courageous Conversations at Work Series. The book price is included in your tuition.
